Tonight I was reminded that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. I often think of the devil as just some arbitrary force, but realize that if you’re doing the work of God, he is very strategic. He often knows just when to strike, and when to hold off.
This realization can really help us to, in Christ, overcome him. It helps to quicken our minds to the fact that things aren’t necessarily “coincidences”, but well thought out, planned ahead attacks by the enemy himself. All I have to say is “I’m glad Jesus died on the cross and conquered the power of the enemy. Halelujah!”
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37

God always provides for His people.
Monday, November 7, 2011 I opened up a Paypal account that had an extra $86 in it. I could not figure out where it came from
Tuesday, November 8, 2011 I found an additional $100 in my Chase Business account, and have no explanation as to why the extra money.
God is faithful
March 21st, 2011 — prayer
We all need to plead for the land, that we would have revelations similar to the one the prophet Isaiah had in Isaiah 6. Check out what Isaiah says in verse 5:
“Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.”
When we have a confrontation with the King, we are literally undone. There are things we recognize about the life we and our fellow Americans lead that we realize are not honoring to God. Even a heart of unbelief is a sin (Heb 3:12).
As we see in the book of Daniel, it is healthy to confess our own sins along with those of our nation:
“And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God..” (Daniel 9:20)
The need is urgent. As a nation we are far from the throne of God, and need to cast out our idols and begin fasting and praying, pleading with the Lord Jesus to withhold judgment and grant mercy.
